Sorell Wilson is a happy spirited, passionate individual, bringing life to every shoot

Sorell Wilson recently graduated with a Masters in Art Photography, studying at Photography Studies College in Melbourne. Her research included investigating how dirt can positively impact our health, together with the positive impact that spending time outdoors in natural environments has on our overall well-being, happiness, creativity, and sensitivity. Sorell also Majored in Commercial Photography in 2013, graduating with an academic excellence award.

These studies enhanced her natural flare for design, and creativity, and developed her keen eye for detail. Her clients are regularly captivated by her unique artistic images and impressed with how at ease she makes them feel in front of the camera.

Sorell takes great delight in diverse cultures, immersing herself in foreign communities. She has travelled extensively through Europe, South America, Southeast Asia and India. Her love of people and places is evident in the storytelling moments she has captured.

Sorell is a passionate Early Childhood Educator and loves creating art practices for children in nature, supporting their curiosity, love for the natural world and connection to each other.

Sorell is based in Castlemaine and expresses her sincere acknowledgement and utmost respect for the Djaara people, the traditional owners of this land, Dja Dja Wurrung country, where we live, meet and play. Their sovereignty has never been ceded, and this land always was and always will be Aboriginal land.
